How to: Install a Media Control Interface (MCI).
Solution:
In the 'Control Panel' window, double-click the 'Add New Hardware' icon and install the MCI device driver.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
3) Double-click the 'Add New Hardware' icon. (The 'Add New Hardware Wizard' dialog box appears.)

4) Click 'Next'.
5) Select the 'No' radio button and click 'Next'.

6) In the 'Hardware types' list box, select 'Sound, video and game controllers' and click 'Next'.

7) Select a driver to install:
a) If you wish to reinstall an MCI device included with Windows 95:
1] In the 'Manufacturer' list box, select 'Microsoft MCI'.
2] In the 'Models' list box, select the appropriate MCI driver.
3] Click 'Next' to install the driver.
b) If the MCI driver you wish to install is not listed and you have the driver diskette:
8) Click 'Finish' to complete the installation. (An information dialog box appears.)
9) Click 'Yes' restart the computer.
NOTE: If the MCI device driver came with another program, you must reinstall that program in order for the MCI device driver to be reinstalled.
